So I finally got off my butt and did something productive today. I made this bubble gum machine necklace. And I'm REALLY proud of it. :)
 Ain't it just sweet?

Things are going swell. Long time no update. If you are on facebook you should add me there exousia @ gmail.com because I make the bulk of my posts there now. I just finished doing a major jewelry update, and will be puttin them up in the shop over the next week. Finishing off a lot of desings that only have "one left" kind of deal.
Yesterday we took Evan to sit on Santa's knee I can't wait to show you the photos, but have to wait to get them scanned at my parents house or Jasons work. I bought some of these yesterday for Evan.
They are such a neat idea. I put a little slice of cold refridgerated apple in there and he`s presently gumming away on it with his 1 tooth. They`re great because he won`t choke on the food we`re giving to him, and he can hold it himself! There are definitly more teeth on the way though, I feel feel them erupting on his gum line.
He`s fully crawling now too. Fun stuffs ;)

I'm feeling a lot better this evening. Success in the etsy labs again. Really enjoying etsy community lately. Getting a little obsessive over it. I opened a chatroom for doing shop critiques and had enormous success there too. Lots of people hearted my shop today. Very nice.
Our 2 week old freezer died today. I'm not impressed. It just quit working and spoiled all the food in it. So it's going back. And If I could lift it I'd probably throw it I swear.
Tommorow I'm off to the horrid dentist to have him inspect my teeth. Hopefully it will just be a cleaning and no major work or belittlement over how I need to floss the fuck out of them to get my gums to stop bleeding. I'd get a new dentist but he's been with me since I was like 7. And often "forgets" to send me the bill after the insurance covers most of it.
Feeling less sick today too. Got lots of sleep. Evan cut his first tooth today. So that's why he's been so extra upest. I feel bad for the little guy. Teeth are terrible little buggers.
I've been worrying about money lately just because of the way I've been spending it. I really need to reign myself in and find a new form of therapy! No more purchases for me for a while. I'd like the savings account to grow again...
I'm very excited to get this eyeshadow box from imyourpresent

This is coming in the mail hopefully soon too

Getting a couple shrugs from honeypoprags
and a green leopard print one too.
alright off to bed i go. wish me dental luck :\

In Flanders fields
"In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders Fields.
Take ...up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders Fields."
--John McCrae (May 1915)

It was another rough night last night, but this morning I brough Evan into bed with me and his bottle and we both slept another 5 hours. And he is STILL sleeping now. I just put him into his crib. We've both got nasty colds so the sleep is much needed. The humidifier doesn't seem to have helped at all. Although it seems to make the air much nicer in the apartment. It's always way to dry in the winter.
I had fun yesterday although I was sick. Did a bit of thrifting after my blood work and visiting with my mom and ladies at the xray lab. Jason and I also picked up a few things we needed at walmart. And I started getting some Christmas decorations.

I've decided that a good Christmas tradition will be to do operation Christmas child with Evan every year. Get involved!
We are so blessed with everything that we have in Canada. Please let me know if anyone from Winnipeg wants to help with our boxes, or make your own!

Yesterday was a wonderful day. Jason and I tidied up the apartment and my parents came over. My mom stayed with Jason and Evan and Dad and I went and bought a new freezer at costco for my apartment! I am not the owner of an upright 8.3 cubic foot freezer. I'm excited about it.
Before they came over I tried to get my slowly going flat tire on my car fixed but it was too busy. Will take it in during the week sometime in the morning when it's slower. I also stocked up on diapers and formula. I want to always have a good stock this winter of diapers formula and food - anything we NEED just in case we get too sick to feel like going out or get snowed in.
My noisey neighbours finished moving out yesterday. I heard the 4 year old Jack banging around in the apartment next door so I went next door to see how it was going. I offered to take Jack for a little while so they could finish up cleaning. So I plunked him down in front of sonic the hedgehog on ps2 for a while. Then she came over with baby laura who is a month younger than Evan. Evan loved Jack, he laughed at him so hard and was dumbstruck over cute little Laura. Jack figured out that it was me who was leaving stickers for him under his door everyday. On his way out with his mom he pops up from sitting on the floor with some of my clutter and goes, " Can I have this?" It was a package of sculpting clay I had bought at the dollar store. "Sure Jack." I tell him. And then he changes his mind. "Oh I don't want it anymore." So I give it to his mom for later and she thanks me and they head back to the apartment to finish up.
Later in the evening the husband comes over and plops one of these down on our balcony:
"I thought you could use this."
How nice is that!? It's in brandnew condition. Our little tikes collection is growing.
So I hummed and hawed whether or not I should actually take Evan around the block trick or treating and at last minute I decided. I threw on my trusty goth makeup and my witch hat and my goth bar skirt and put an extra onesie and pants on under Evans costume. Snagged a blanket a bag a bottle of milk and an emerg diaper. We went to auntie mark and serenas house just down the street and then around the block. Lots of people were excited to see him. Next year we will go out before dark when all the oher little kids go. I took him out at about 7 and most of the houses had already shut their lights off already. Evan was so excited to see all the people and faces. I think he REALLY enjoyed it. He loves attention that little bugger! We gotta pretty good haul for only having gone to about 10-12 houses. I had to empty his little halloween treat bag into mine once - we were stuffed full of candy!
Here are some halloween pics for ya!

Show me your earring collection! Here's mine. I've been meaning to show you this neat earring holder/spinner thingy I got a couple months back. It's a bird cage and has little holes all over the tiers to store your earrings. I bought it at an "icing" store I've only got it about 1/4 filled up! Lots of room to grow into! I don't keep any of my PRECIOUS earrings in here, just my daily ones. Fancy ones stay in my jewelry box. Don't want them to get lost/stolen.
