I've been doing okay. I'm lucky I'm not a single mom. I appreciate the moments when I am so exhausted that I can hand Evan to Jason for a feeding and a change and get in a 3 hour nap. Poor Jason is exhausted too today. We're all supposed to go to his Grandmothers house for late Easter dinner. I have a feeling it's going to be quite the adventure because it's about a half hour drive and I worry about Evan being in the car seat for longer trips because sometimes there's just no calming him down unless you hold him or feed him.
All the lack of peace in this place makes me want to get a house really bad. It's all I can think about sometimes, but I know on one small wage it will never happen. Hopefully when Evan is a little bigger I can get back to work.
We had our first visit to the pediatrician this week. He has fluid on one side of his testees, a possible hernia, and a plugged tear duct. All are supposed to go away on their own though, we'll have another appointment with her in 2 weeks. I got my stitches checked out and they're healing nicely. The doctor removed the steritape off of them. Evan was also weighed and is up to 5 lbs 5 oz now! He's probably a lot more than that now though. He's been eating like crazy. He went from drinking 50 ml a feeding to drinking 75-100ml all in a week.
